Q. How does Distance Learning work?
- You study at home and at times that suit you and you can complete the course in your own time.
- Typically, the process works in the following way:-
- Choose and purchase a course.
- If there is a special offer available make sure you avail of it at this time.
- We will then post you the Course pack.
- You then choose your own pace and time to study.
Q. Are NTA Courses Accredited?
A. Yes. All NTA Courses are externally accredited by the nationally recognised bodies.
Q. Do I need to have a third level qualification to start an NTA course?
A. No. NTA courses can be taken by anyone; there is no requirement to hold a previous qualification.
Q. Do I need any pre-requirements to enrol?
A. Not at all! You don't need any prior training or experience - just a desire to learn and succeed.
Q. How long will it take to complete a course and receive my Diploma?
A. With a regular study, programme - usually- about three or fours hours a week you should complete a course in a year or less. But it is entirely up to you. Take as much time as you need to complete the self-correcting exercises.
Q. What makes these courses so special?
A. Firstly they were written by experts in each field and then converted by educational specialists to offer first class skills and training programmes through the medium of distance learning or self-study as we like to term it. Our courses are priced competitively, are practical, and excellent quality. They were specifically written for the Irish Market.
Q. Can I transfer to another Course?
A. NTA will allow students transfer to another course provided such requests are made in writting within 30 days of enrolment and provided any shortfall in courses fees is paid in full. No refunds will be made.
Q. Will I have to buy any extra supplies or equipment?
A. No. All your study materials are supplied to you for your course fee on a module by module basis so that when you complete a module and return the assignment, it is tutored and the next module is then sent out to you. The only extra is the optional final examination.
Q. Who are the Tutors?
A. NTA Tutors are qualified experts in their respective fields. They ensure that assignments reach the standard required by the respective accreditation body and provide any help you need throughout the course.
Q. How do I go about Booking a Course ?
A. You can purchase a course with NTA using any of the methods below:

- You may book a course online using our secure payment arrangements for your Credit or Laser card.
- You may Fax in a copy of the enrolment form found in our Prospectus using your Credit or Laser card. The Fax number is 01 - 2897363 or
- You can post in the enrolment form and pay by Postal Order, Money Order, Bank draft or by cheque to:
